About Me
I like videogames. In that one sentence I summed up what many across the internet would have bloated into a poem, song, dance or really awful Youtube video. So with that out of the way, it would be fair to move on to the boring parts. I enjoy writing, especially about gaming, whether it be reviews or just commentary on the often hilarious things that the gaming industry does. For five years I have reviewed games for a (very) small website and I hope to one day turn that hobby into an actual job. Granted it will not be easy. Every gaming website or publication has made it fairly clear that they get endless amounts of e-mails, letters and stalker phone calls with thirteen year olds screaming "Me want 2 white weviews!" This only makes it more of a struggle to be taken seriously when you have actual questions and interests regarding the field. In the meantime I have decided to actually take a shot at blogging, as its definitely a fine change of pace from the more rigid style of formal game reviews.

As for my specific gaming interests, I do no subscribe to fanboyism, and I do not prefer one genre completely over all others. I find that each of the major platforms have their own merits, faults and just plain stupid shit thats worth ripping apart. I enjoy online games, I enjoy single player games and hell I still enjoy splitscreen games (sue me). I can't say I like everything when it comes to gaming (no sports games, no thanks), but I do believe that I have a fairly open mind when it comes to the industry and what it offers us.

For now, that's all I can think of, and its probably all anyone cares for. So with that said.....

Sites across the net have made mention of the new Halo 3 themed Mountain Dew flavor called "Gamer Fuel". IGN even went so far as to write up an actual review article on the soda:

Once again, that is an actual article that IGN spent manpower on to type up about soda. If you read it through, you can see that they were mostly mocking the soda. While its great that a Halo inspired soda flavor is getting its time it so rightfully deserves in the spotlight, another Halo 3 product has yet to be so lucky.

Here we have, the Halo 3 Slurpee cup from 711:

It costs about a $1.99 at your local 711 and it really, desperately needs a loving home. It features a shiny hologram coating, followed by a cheap but caring paper layer. To top it off, the inside is completely empty, ready for you to fill it with your loving "Gamer Fuel". Not only does it taste like they removed every other ingredient but the thick syrup to make it taste like melted starburst, but if you drink enough of it, it may just kill you before September 25th, which would in effect complete Microsoft's plan of making the games on the Xbox 360 feel like a lucid dream. One you may never have to wake up from. Halo 3 really may be the game to end all games

Yeah, that's some crazy shit. The 7-11 by my house is selling Halo 3 at midnight on the 25th. That's just too damn weird. Um let's see, I'll get some beef jerky, a pack of Red Vines, some Dr. Pepper, and oh yeah.... a copy of Halo 3. That's just freakish.
