They say that the genius will often get classified as a madman. I don't know about that, but I know that there are some geniuses in our own forums. They are bold, brave men with the willpower of champions. These heroes have a strong love for the medium of film and, as such, like to discuss it. So they did. And, as was the only next logical step, they put it on the internet.

This podcast will (ideally) have Gatsby, Icarus and Gyrael as permanent members. The plan is to put out an episode every two weeks or so, and each episode will be centered around a movie we chose to talk about.

As you have probably deducted already, our first episode is up and it's about Edgar Wright's adaptation of the Scott Pilgrim comics, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. In this episode, we had Phantomile and Jon Bloodspray as guests, and, unfortunately, Icarus could not be there because he was at PAX like an asshole. Did we love it? (spoilers: yes) Did we hate it? (spoilers: no). You'll have to listen to find out.

As a note: Like the amateur effort that it is, the podcast is far from perfect. Aside from the usual inexperience in structure and hosting and whatever, we had an awful time trying to edit this because of various troubling circumstances that no one cares about, but the point is that the audio quality is pretty bad. This will probably improve for our next episode, and it probably won't take us two weeks to edit it either. Even so, Gatsby's editing job was pretty fucking amazing and it's worth noting, as it makes the podcast flow rather alright.

Other than the mentioned sound problems it was pretty good. You all had a pretty good chemistry together and I look forward to the next episode.
Also, I forgot to say that DMS kindly recorded this episode as our audio bitch. You should check out his webcomic (which updates Sundays) [url=http://spiderperuspider.tumblr.com/]here[url]! It's super great for all the families!

Thanks you DMSStart for help.
As you know, I'm a dick.
with no love of SP. That said, Good luck Forum Brothers, I love that it's half hour, that's my favoured length for Podcasts. Nothing worse than something that drags on horribly.

Keep up the good work.
Thanks everyone. I really think half an hour marks a nice sweet spot as well. I find that with the podcasts that I do listen to, I always lose interest once it passes thirty minute mark. Not through any fault of the cast, but just because an hour is a long time to listen to anyone talk.

As the editor, I'll be shooting for similar episode lengths every time.
