COD4:Headquarters Game Mode
Leaderz0rz | 3:17 AM on 11.06.2007 4 comments

What was IW thinking when they included this game mode? It was like the worst 15 minutes of my life playing this game mode. For those of you don't know the "headquarters" randomly spawns around the map and you have to go capture it and hold it and get points for as long as you hold it. As soon as you capture the headquarters you cannot respawn for 45 seconds. The opposite team has to destroy the headquarters to stop the points from racking up. Sounds fun right? WRONG! IW decided to put every headquarters in the most cramped small areas they could possibly find. All this does is make it a grenade spam fest. You think it would create intense fire fights and things but it doesn't. It all boils down to the attacking team grenading the defending team till there is no one left alive.Maybe it's just me but I can't find the fun in that gameplay mode at all.

P.S. stop playing team deathmatch.

Halo 3:Big Team Battle
Leaderz0rz | 12:54 AM on 10.11.2007 7 comments

The latest update to Halo 3 which increases the amount of players in Big Team Battle is great. Except the problem that plagues Big Team Battle is that everyone only wants to play Team Slayer. They will veto any map that isn't team slayer then leave the game if the next map isn't team slayer. They constantly bitch about VIP and BOMB or they just run around completely avoiding the objectives all together. With a over a million people playing Halo 3 you would think I could find a game with actual players who follow the objectives right? Wrong. Now I am not the greatest Halo player in the world, in fact I'm pretty bad at it, but one would think that even if it's not the type of game mode you wanted you would still try to win. Now I always heard the Halo community had horrible players but seeing as how Halo 3 is the first Halo I ever played with remote interest in multiplayer this is just absurd. I think there should be a Big Team Battle Objective, and a Big Team Slayer or something. There might less people playing objectives but some of us like to have a point to the game other than killing the mean red or blue color for 20 mins.

So I got into the cod4 beta...
Leaderz0rz | 3:08 AM on 09.15.2007 11 comments

So far I am having a blast playing it. I like the level up system even if its not original as people like to point out. One of my favorite features in the Challenges, I like unlocking the camo patterns and such by getting so many headshots and what not. While I know everyone will have it unlocked eventually, It gives you something to work toward and show off. I find all the weapons to be overpowered and at the same time balanced. You take a person who is really good with the m16 and it will seem like the most overpowered weapon in the game, but at the same time you take a really good person with the mp5 and its the same thing there. My biggest gripe is that I don't see a reason to use any weapon other than the m4 at the moment. As those of you who are in the beta can tell, 90 percent of all the players use the m4. I dunno if I can see the m4 is more powerful than the other weapons, I just think that it has the least amount of disadvantages (almost zero). I think it could use more recoil to it maybe to balance it against the ak and the m16 more evenly. I want to test out the G3 as its one of my favorite weapons. Hopefully they will up the ranks enough to unlock it.
