It took me long enough!

Hi there everybody! After today's events stirred me into action, I decided to write this blog you are hopefully reading right now. I've been here lurking around for a year and a half now, posting comments here and there. And when today happened, and after one of the editors that got me hooked on this site left, it got me thinking about how much I love this damn site.

To be honest, I don't remember how I got to this site, but I do remember who got me to keep coming back. That person was Chad Concelmo, and to this day, remains, in my eyes, the most awesome person on this site. After that, I started to read more articles, and then I came across Anthony Burch (who I sincerely wish a happy new life to) and his thought provoking articles. It all went on from there.

I can't really even begin to say how many ways Destructoid has changed my life. If it weren't for this site, I would have never played many of my favorite games, like the Persona series. This site also changed how I look at games themselves and how they can connect people.

I really hope to become a productive and somewhat cool member of this amazing, awesome, and goddamn life changing community.
