no i was just saying in ventrilo that I really liked megatonik. the layout and writing is nice. its just that no one comments there and its not as publicly known as Destructoid. so thats why i said if we didn't have the cool people here it would be like MEGATONik which does not have people that comment a lot. so it seems empty. THAT IS ALL. sorry if you took it as me saying megatonik was a bad site. I know you've got enough flak over it already.
If you say "MEGATONik is what Destructoid would be without the good people," I think that implies that MEGATONik is a gaming blog run by "bad people."
I don't write for them, but I always feel bad when people from Destructoid rip on them, because by and large, it's a website run by people who were either on here near the beginning, or are still prominent Dtoiders. Those guys are my friends, and you might not know it because some of them post under different handles or their real names, but some of them might be your friends too.
This is aimed at everybody who picks on MEGATONik, not you specifically Lark. If you genuinely do like the site, then just pass this message on to the Vent kids who think it's just a place that's ripping off Destructoid.
Fair enough Dexter345. I think we can take away from this that you should never get too attached to off hand remarks made on the internet in unimportant community blogs. Any publicity is good publicity, but even if its for a laugh I don't feel to good about making people cry. unless its Joystiq (see what i did there?)
