Today on the 26th select stores around Japan were the first to install 30 Wii demo units for the public.

Previously, Nintendo refrained from setting up demos at retail due to concerns of waggle-related accidents. Considering that Smash Bros. is played the old fashioned way, Nintendo felt that there wouldn't be any danger to store patrons.

Not even hours after the public got their hands on it did people take video of one on one fights! this is the first time many Americans have seen the Pokemon trainer battle in this quality of video.

Go to http://brawlcentral.com/news.php?y=2008&m=1 and scroll down (since they don't have a direct story option...) to see info on the Famitsu scans and character damage data!
Pokemon trainer looks way more badass to play than I ever expected. I can't wait to try out all the new characters and strategies. It'll be fun to see if I revert back to my Smash favorite, DK, for the third game in a row or if the new characters will offer up a more exciting fighter. Can't wait!

The weekly Famitsu that came out yesterday confirmed the screen shots and video as being 100% real...even though they where credited by sources way before that. Regardless the starting roster is all characters shown on the Dojo minus sonic and snake.
I think I may be able to sustain my Brawl urges by watching these. These guys are REALLY good for first timers (to the Brawl) using friggin WIIMOTES. Imagine what the fights will be like with GCN controllers! @_@()
I honestly just don't know which character should I pick anymore, everyone's COOLER than Link (my fabe). My overall list for Brawl goes something like this.
1.- Link (works perfect for me)
2.- Meta Knight (radest of them all)
3.- Mario (best grab evar!)
4.- Sonic (He loves Chilidogs, nuff said)
5.- Wario (need a heavy weight)
6.- Pokemon Trainer (very versatile, great for tourneys)
7.- Everyone else but Yoshi, cuz he on the sucking.

DO WANT.
Did someone punch someone else after a loss with the controller?
this is for ALL Wii demos. Smash Bros. is just the first game to be played on the Wii demo units in these stores.

Was it you who dropped us the tip about this blog, Lark?
Also, that Dragoon dodge Dedede made was KICKASS!
That comic? Funny... but slightly disturbing.

And hey, the video footage pretty snazzy. Can the Cloverfield monster be in Brawl now too?
