Hay Michigan! Want to party?! Unfortunate enough to only live Live in upper Indiana or Ohio instead*? well your in luck. a few Michigan originated Dtoiders asked me to make a blog (so stop asking!) about arranging a get together, shindig, video game extravaganza. I need your help in deciding if my house would be adequate or if I'm expecting 20 people and need to find a community hall to host it in. If its just a few at my place we can have it any time until you all need to get back to your lives.

Highlight of the event- Super smash bros. Brawl.
I'll have my wii with Japanese brawl to battle over until we all can get a copy and play online forever. Also since custom stages can't be played online this might be the only opportunity to do THIS!
bring controllers or games and computers/laptops if your into that kind of thing. more planning after we know who is in!

Course...if we had it in Kalamazoo their would be no confirmation of comfy couches or relaxing atmosphere. It's looking like its going to be at my place. The best day is looking to be March 1st or if need be going into March 2nd. Sleeping space would be enough for 5 for couches. and a bit more floor space if you NEEDED to sleep over :P
Holy crap I'm a long-time lurker, first time poster. This is all due to me loving Smash Bros. a lot, and on a much more relevant note, I go to Western Michigan University.
Only problems are like a lot of commenter's, I don't have a car. That and if the date of this shindig is March 1st or 2nd, WMU will be on spring break and I will be back home on the other side of the state.
At any rate, cool to see a lot of people on dtoid are from Michigan.
We might be able to plot a course to pick some of you up. if people are willing. Post your town (address and more withheld for internet saftey) and see if we can't work something out.
