If you have recently tried to connect to the "unofficial" Destructoid server, paid for by Fronz, then you might have noticed its not responding. We are currently don't know WHY it has craped out on us, but I suspect host complications. It went down around 1:30 AM saturday morning.

Today the Regular patching of World of Warcraft took place, but some startiling news also was released. The newest hero class for the upcoming expansion pack! The Bard will use a guitar hero like combo system to fuel his power.
"The better the player’s accuracy and timing, the more powerful the resulting ability becomes. The riffs also become more difficult as the bard’s abilities progress, ensuring that the bard gameplay experience remains fast-paced and skill-oriented. Executing abilities also builds up groove, which further fuels the bard’s epic rock powers."
If a game Could fuse the Guitar hero mechanic like this into an RPG I would be really interested! You know this may just be an april fools joke, but if World of warcraft ever did this I know I'd be sold.

We will have Rock Band and other activities for the night like BRAWL and more BRAAAAAAWL. I have various swag left over from PAX 07 that I can give out as prizes if you like. I'll get some pizzas and pop, but beer is bring your own. Bring games, Laptops, or a PS3 if your into that kind of thing.
Many have shown interest in spending the night. thats fine, but I only have enough couch space for 5 people. and only about 5-8 blankets. After that floor space could accommodate 4-5 others without too much cramping. Bring your own pillow and or blanket for your own sake please. Meanwhile I'll be sleeping in my king sized ceiling-mirror bed.
Of course the only fair way to find out who gets to sleep where is with brawl battles!* If anyone can beat me you can sleep in my bed.**
*Tazar automatically gets first pick for being so bad ass.
