About Me
Hello there.

My name is Ryan and I work at a pretty prominent web company. I'm 22 years old, which probably makes me one of the youngest people at the company (out of over 100 people). I have half of a college degree, a full-time job, and now I've got a place to hang out and talk about awesome video games.

Feel free to talk to me! <3

Indie Game Sale on Steam!!!

Seriously?! Just $20 bucks for World of Goo, Everyday Shooter, Braid and even more? If you haven't played one or two of those games, they're fucking awesome, and you need to click on the link and go buy them!

Jonathan Blow says:

"The Steam page says it all with nice big pictures.

Ron Carmel (of World of Goo) and I picked the games for these bundles. We wanted the bundles to contain only games that exemplify the indie spirit and that feel unique to play — all these games have a certain je ne sais quoi.

Here are the two bundles:

For $19.95: Braid, World of Goo, The Path, Everyday Shooter, Blueberry Garden (full value of these games is $60).

For $29.95: Braid, World of Goo, The Path, Everyday Shooter, Blueberry Garden, Gish, AudioSurf, Darwinia, Mr. Robot, Crayon Physics Deluxe (full value of these games is $120.)

So, there you have it. You can get $120 worth of independent games for $29.95 — that’s 75% off. If you want to introduce a friend to independent gaming on the PC, these are the games to refer them to. If you are interested in independent games but don’t know where to start, this is the pack to buy."

Ok I'm going to explode right now because that is a fucking killer deal! But I have one question that will stop me from grabbing these games (I only played 3 of those, so I really want this). I have a mac, and it can't do shit, hell there aren't even mac versions of most of these. I'm getting a non-mac laptop soon, so if I buy this pack now, can I download the games later on my soon to get laptop? I never used steam before, so I'm new to all this. Yes I am a newb, I know.

Yeah, you once you buy a game on steam it's linked to your account and you can download it onto any PC you want. Buy it.

Anyone know if you can gift any games that you already have from this?

@Fyodor: If steam detects a duplicate game of any kind it just adds text saying "1 Extra copy" to the game in your steam games list; you can leave it there for as long as you want!

This is an awesome deal, every one of those games is a HUGE amount of fun.... except The Path, which was agonizingly boring.
World of Goo is one of the best indie games ever made.

Braid and Audiosurf were on my to-buy list anyway. I'm so doing this.
