Favorite games include: most strategy games, but honestly I'll try anything, so I end up with a nice mix of games, like Harvest Moon, Animal Crossing, Halo 2, Civilizations 4, WarCraft 2 (TWO, not 3, and Don't even talk to me about W.O.W. or you shall die a horrible death) and many many others.
Avg Weekly GameTime: 30+ hours
I play console and PC games, but sadly havn't gotten around to getting an XBox360, or a PS3.
now that the IMPOTANT stuff is out of the way xD I'm a 19 yr old Female, living in a Hell Hole state that I can't wait to get out of and go back home (to Missouri), this Hell Hole goes by the Name of Houston, Tx. But don't be fooled by the English name it has, this city was forged in the fires of Mt. Doom by Sauron himself.
I'm pretty much your avg. nerd.. except on a couple traits, but we don't need to get into those.. and to prove it, I have (havn't played her in a long while though) a lvl 74 Silvan/Drow (I can give you the very... interesting back story to that if you understand why that's ridiculous) xD

ok, I'll start with the music part...
I felt like listening to something I hadn't heard in a while, and found my 'Garbage' collection (I love them!), anyway, it got me thinking about wtf has happened to music... we have some decent metal songs out, a whole bunch of rap crap.. and a ton of sappy overplayed love songs that say the same thing every other love song has been saying for the past 30 years... I just think it's getting a little old, the only thing that's grown it seems is Rap and metal, Rock has deteriorated (Led Zepplin, Def Leapord, and all them), Sappy Love songs are all STILL the same as ever, and Alternative is still... well.. alternative... the only positive note I can say about the current music is the lack of boy-bands... ok, let's go into a little more detail about some of the biggest chick singers right now, we'll start with the beloved *caugh* Amy Lee (lead singer of Evanescence)... Good looking, yes. Goth.. you'd think so.. but no! She's a complete poser.. In her normal casual wear, and to anywhere else for that matter with the exception of when she sings, she's complete in 'punk' style.. and I really don't see Amy Lee as the type to go for that honestly.. I bet she was just some prep girl who was smarter then the others and knew where to get a fanbase. Now we'll go with Avril Lavign, ohhh yay... I must say she has gotten a little better with her image, but she's still another complete poser.. When she started out she was complete punk, Sk8er Boi and all that, you could tell she barely had any idea wtf she was talking about, she only went for that style for the same reason Amy Lee went for hers.. for a fanbase... from her other songs, and seeing/reading interviews with her, you can tell she's just a spoiled brat who's one of those "I only fight for the winning side" sort of people. But in her defense she has gotten a LITTLE better with all that lately, and kind of started showing who she really is... but I doubt that will last long, she'll either get worse again, or her career will end... my prediction, we'll see ;) Now in defense for both of them, I LOVE Amy Lees' voice, and a lot of her songs hit home with me, I just don't like her... same with Avril mostly, I like some of her songs, she has a fun voice.. I just don't like her... Now for the fun part.. DUMB GIRLS! We've all seen them... the stupid-ass white girls who either: A. Only like guys who treat them like shit. B. Only like Black guys. C. Act completely and totally Ghetto, and live in a rich neighborhood. I mean COME ON! wtf is so attractive about a guy with all silver teeth with his name engraved on them? I honestly thing it looks more like he has a whole bunch of capped teeth that are STILL rotting out... and for all you girls who ONLY date black guys, just WTF? you're all about "I want equal rights" and "treat me like you would anyone else" but then you don't treat others like you would anyone else.. or maybe it's deeper then that.. I don't know, either way, in the 90's, that didn't really happen.. it's not that black guys got more attractive... I dunno what it is.. you tell me... and then on to those completely ghetto white chicks who have never even SEEN the bad side of town.. we ALL know you're truly an Emo, just STFU and quit acting like you know wtf you're doing.. We've all seen these 3 types of women.. they're EVERYWHERE!!! WHY!?!? WTH is going on with our society!? oh... or I guess we could go with what everyone else seems to think is the right answer for everything... IT'S BUSH'S FAULT!!!! Come on people... it's you're own damn fault.. lol... ok and one last thing.. before I get a whole bunch of "you're just doing this for attention" comments.. I want to ask you a question.. what did you write your blog for? was it for other people to read? wait... if other people read it, you're getting attention!! OMFG YOU ONLY WROTE YOUR BLOG FOR ATTENTION!!!! OMG OMG OMG OMG xD so ya... none of that... as I've learned.. don't suck... (and I'll just add) if you do, stfu xD -Kitten

I don't know what I am saying but posting a large photo of yourself in your blog doesn't exactly scream "don't look at me." Along with making comment sin by saying in your last blog "Yes, these picture sare of me and I have more if you want to see them."

However, I'll pretend I understand for the sake of the discussion. The mainstream singers, do not pose Kyttie. They in fact have lives outside of the fast life. They can't all live like Cid Vicious. Drugs, booze and metal object aren't for the artists, it's for the fans.
Also, about dumb chicks, leave em alone. Every person can appreciate a dumb person to make themselves feel better when you school them on a video game blogging site. Catch my drift?
Lastly, blog more about dumb chicks playing games, before I beat you to it. :D

When stuff like High School Musical is being pushed out the door, there's clearly cause for alarm bells to ring. Its a bad side show laced with music, but Disney etc are no doubt racking in cash from it. Still freaking awful shit though.
One thing HSM, Britney etc prove is how easy it is for the music industry to attract young listeners early on. Once they have them young enough, (perhaps like a child soldier) mind games can be played with them in order to keep them.
And when an artists isn't flavour of the month anymore they are dumped. Everyone loves a comeback or an artist that battles back to the top, but will Britney bother after execs bail on her and move on, time will tell. Some have tried and failed, but to not try again, you wouldn't be much of an artist.
I think what you mean about dumb girls, is just the entourage of leeches that feel the need to be in an artist's sphere. The want a slice of fame and fortune too. There'll always be groupies and fans like this, and while they might look dumb, I'd rather they willingly be a lamb to the slaughter of debauchery than me or my family or friends. Warnings will be heeded but more than likely fall on deaf ears.
Black urban culture is very strong and warped to an degree in money, bling and motors. Unfortunately, that's all it about these days and less about putting across a message through music. I'm black, but I'm pretty tired of it so I seek refuge in dance/jazz/game music, online radio stations and anything else I hear that speaks to me.
Good music is out there, you just have to be prepared to hunt for it, and not let the industry, deliver what they want you to hear/swallow to your door. Unfortunately, a lot of young music fans can't see that.
My advice to Britney would be to either leave music alone altogether or just get smart, look at what Prince is doing with his music (taking control of it, back from the cancerous man and his suits), write your own stuff, giving it back to the fans. Start from scratch completely and build yourself up again, older and wiser to the traps of the industry.
