I've got a backlog (games I have that I still need to beat). Everybody does.

BioShock and Portal are some of my favorite games.

I love the SNES. So many great games Pilotwings, SMW, F-Zero, UN Squadron, FFIV & VI, Secret of Mana, Super Mario RPG, ActRaiser, Super Metroid, The Legend of Zelda: a Link to the Past... the list goes on.

I love playing the Xbox 360. I enjoy the Wii just fine, but I LOVE the 360.

Iplay Rock Band the most (probably) at parties, or in my Rock Band band Blargg with Dexter345.

So...

I got the Halo 3 Edition Xbox 360.

I know it was more money for not more system (as oposed to just getting a Pro).

My wife understood that now that Halo 3 was out, I was really wanting one.

She was right.

(I'm not sexy)

But this is sexy.

For some reason, I'm quite taken with the controller.

(no I don't have sausage fingers)

My daughter called her friends and told them all about it.

lol, congrats. Personally I think the army green is just a fugly color, BUT, even though it's a bit of a fanboy, it really is cool, although if you already had a 360 but HAD to have this special 360, then yah everyone would make fun of your fanboy-ism

I've been thinking about getting one of these but I keep telling myself that I might as well get the Elite. I'll decide by the end of the year.

Does your Halo 3 edition have the Falcon CPU and new heatsink?

I'm not sure if they all do or not, but if you do I'm curious as to how much cooler it runs.

@shipero: The console is actually combat flavor.

It would definitely have the new heatsink, and maybe the Falcon chip. Depends on when it was made.

I didn't have a 360 before. We saved up knowing Halo was coming out.
It tastes like sour apple.
It's loud as opposed to quiet.
The guy at Gamestop said it had the newest components, but I don't know exactly what that would be.
It felt like Christmas, opening it up.
My daughter is CUTE! (she'll be 3 in December :) )
