did you try self diagnosis?
and you made sure the power cord was in correctly by that i mean jammed in?
Also try unplugged the power from the 360 for 2 or 3 minutes and then plugging it back in. That fixed mine.
try opening the disk drive and spunking all over it. It probaby won't fix it, but it will serve microsoft right when the engineer opens up the console.
i feel your pain - i wasn't graced with the presence of the one ring to rule them all, but my 360 did crap out on me just 2 weeks ago. stopped playing games and DVDs. it's in the shop now... funny enough, i was PLAYING crackdown when it started giving me troubles (well, that and the halo 3 beta - all i can say is thank god the halo 3 beta ran off the hard drive after initially launching it with the crackdown disc, or i would have been fucked).
good luck. you're in good and plentiful company (30% failure rate).
@zaqu: Power supply is fine. When I turn on the 360, the power supply light goes green.
@BlindsideDork: I left it disconnected last night. But when I reconnected it and turned it on, it still gave me the flashing rings
Oops. Hit the comment button...
@double2: Lol.
Yeah...Seems this generation of consoles have plenty faults in them...
@kawitchate: Yeah...it sucks.
Boo to the red ring... :( I am sorry.
