Born in the Alps and raised by a group of wild elk, KnuxSonic migrated to America in the late 1980's with only a swatch watch and his VHS copies of Saved by the Bell.

He began gaming soon hereafter while living in the basement of Funcoland, the one out by the mall (you know, the mall where the Greasers hung out? That one.) Sonic the Hedgehog changed his life. He realized that while he himself had no talent, he could write long paragraphs about nothing, literally! To this day, KnuxSonic still plays entire seasons of MLB 2K7 without remorse.

Those were a good laugh, sounds like Best Buy are being real cretins about a situation that they wouldn't have been associated with before sticking their clodhopper hooves in. But if you do end up getting fired, it might not be the worst thing if you can use your success with the videos to pursue a career in graphic design.

Check your local laws and the wording on any employment contracts you signed... an employer can fire you for any reason whatsoever, they have that right... but you generally also have a right to appropriate termination pay (severance).

As someone who got out of Best Buy at the first opportunity voluntarily, and has had friends "fired" over pathetic excuse from them, I am here to tell you, it's probably for the best!

Take this time and attention to leverage your artistic career, and you might speak to a lawyer, see if you have a case, because there's nothing like making ol' BBY eat some crow pie. Of course, they've already done more damage to themselves by firing/attempting to fire you than your video ever would have done, since it makes no mention of their brand or anything. I honestly thought it was Radioshack, myself, though that's probably bias from having a 2nd job there.

And I agree that this was hilarious and wish you much luck in whatever you do! Karma tends to work out, even if in funny ways.
