Born in the Alps and raised by a group of wild elk, KnuxSonic migrated to America in the late 1980's with only a swatch watch and his VHS copies of Saved by the Bell.

He began gaming soon hereafter while living in the basement of Funcoland, the one out by the mall (you know, the mall where the Greasers hung out? That one.) Sonic the Hedgehog changed his life. He realized that while he himself had no talent, he could write long paragraphs about nothing, literally! To this day, KnuxSonic still plays entire seasons of MLB 2K7 without remorse.

G4's BIG Announcement: "We have no announcement"

In a case of epic fail, instead of announcing their much hyped big mystery announcement today on Attack of the Show, G4 instead announced that... they had no announcement. Yes, it seems whatever they were going to say isn't ready yet, due to legal reasons so we don't know exactly when they'll announce it.

I'm pretty sure it's some form of the fabled online archive we've been waiting on for well over a year now that would host full episodes of G4 shows including new episodes Electric Playground, Happy Tree Friends and reran episodes of current G4 shows AOTS and X-Play and POSSIBLY older shows like Portal, which has been "in progress" forever. It's possible that third party shows (COPS, Ninja Warrior, Cheaters, etc.) are the "legal reasons" that are holding this back.

Yeah, but who knows, maybe they're announcing that they're finally going to admit that they aren't a gaming channel anymore?

I caught that while flipping from Ninja Warrior to anything that wasn't Attack of the Show. My guess was that they hadn't managed to infect all of the interns with crabs yet.

and yeah, channel's a big mess. Eating most of TEch TV and producing AOTS on the other end was kind of a fail. I do enjoy me some X-Play though. Adam Sessler is fckin harsh!

G4tv.com was my personal favorite. There's so many gaping holes in the channel now where decent content once was.. they have what? 2 shows in production now? That's terrible.

I have a "feeling" G4TV is going to go in a direction that you guys will like more. That said, there's very little they could do that could make everyone happen. Gamers are a picky, vicious bunch. Anything "mainstream" or "corporate" is going to get immediately kicked in the nuts.

G4TV is owned by Comcast, so by association, they're evil and all of their programming is going to suck, right?

I'm not saying that I approve of the direction they've gone -- COPS? What the hell? I'm just of the mind that if they do decide to amp up their gaming/tech content once again, I'd welcome it with open arms. As gamers, why wouldn't we want that?

Icehiro's correct. The reason G4 merged with TechTV is to rob TechTV out of their money, fire all 300 employees, and produce unwanted garbage that no one gives a damn. G4 were doing fine if the twat didn't take the channel into MTV's asshole and shit out bunch of useless idiotic shows like the Man Show, Cheaters, AOTS, Wired for Sex, Arrested Development, etc. Even if their big suprise were to go HD, it'll reach a new low of the channel, hell they lost a majority of the fanbase, what can be worse as this, SMUT IN HIGH DEF!!! We want fucking TechTV, with the original shows, and NO sluts to attract male perverts, and no COPS, AOTS, The Man Show, or what fucking ever that has nothing to do with tech/gaming. G4's not bringing in ratings, it's bombing. The current shows aren't helping, and we can't take the same old shit anymore. Thank you have a nice day.
