I trust that everyone had a good Thanksgiving. I know I did and had way too much food in the process. I didn't get out to any of the early Black Friday sales, I just didn't find anything worth fighting the crowds over. There was a fist-fight at my local Toys R Us though, at least it would have been entertaining.
For those of you who missed out on getting the Big Daddy statue that came with the collector's edition of Bioshock, Neca Toys is releasing a
Bioshock series. I pre-ordered the Big Daddy last night at Toys R Us. While it's not as cool as the collector's edition statue, it still looks very nice. I'm not sure of the measurements, but it looks to be pretty good size. They're also planning on releasing Big Sister, Little Sister, and the player model Big Daddy. I'll be sure to share a pic of mine when it gets here. I'm still playing through Assassin's Creed 2 and enjoying it quite a lot. My wife, on the other hand, has taken over the Wii with New Super Mario Bros. and Animal Crossing.
Next week, I'm think of doing my own holiday buyer's guide over at Nonsense Gamer since I'm short on titles to review for next week. Speaking of reviews, my review of
Assassin's Creed 2 is a go for anyone that's interested. So, did anyone make it out to the sales or have a particularly interesting Thanksgiving?
