Hi, and welcome! I'm a 23 year old female doing a gaming-related PhD. I'm from the UK, and am also an aspiring games industry entrepreneur - watch out for me in future. ;)

Games are my life: I've always been super-passionate about gaming, and also technology, ever since I struggled to fight my way onto my relatives' Commodore 64 as a small child, and was absolutely ecstatic to be given a hand-me-down Sega Master System II (with built-in Alex Kidd in Miracle World, dontcha know!)! Now I am obsessed not only with my lovely 360, but also with my shiny laptop, on which I love playing FPS's and MMO's, and occasionally RTS games. I'm researching the exciting area of Affective Gaming for my PhD, and am launching a games startup within the next 18 months.
