I shat bricks, and I know I shouldn't since it ended with undoubtedly one of the worst finales ever seen ever, but screw everyone else. I am excited as hell for Heroes reappearing on my lapt...TV screen. Apparently NBC doesn't think Heroes is popular, so they put out a teaser trailer on their Youtube (Along with teasers for other shows, which don't matter to me at all). It's only got 4,000 views so far, which is pretty pathetic, but it is only about a minute long. I could probably spend all day dissecting it like an episode of Lost, although I'm sure somebody already did that for me. So I'll just point out things I noticed.
- Micah still can't act for shit. He should use his power to steal himself some moneys and go to fucking acting school. And don't give me the "Well, he is a kid!" excuse. The actor who played Molly was pretty cool.
- Claire is about to turn 18 and already she's getting tapped by some guy I don't know. Just show me another naked dead shot. Pedophilia is OK if she's dead, right?
- Sylar is in the Bahamas apparently. Arguably the highlight of the video, even if it was for a split second.
- Mohinder and Matt are still kinda boring, but I suppose it's hard to make them look like they are in an action movie when Mohinder just talks about theories and Matt's power is as exciting as watching Saw 14: The Resawwing
- No Peter and Nathan (Well I think I saw Nathan in one shot, with the smashed mirror). Hardly surprising since they both "died" last season, but still, we know they are alive. No Peter = No Heroes really. Also no DL (I hope he died in the ambulance) or Mr. Bennet (I hope he was the one who killed DL).
- Hiro is still in the past learning to be a samurai. Not only that, Julian fucking Sark from Alias is with him! Holy shit. I take it back earlier, this is the highlight of the video for me. That guy owned Alias.
So yeah, I have a feeling shit will hit the fan next season. The big baddie who is supposedly scarier than Sylar (According to Molly) is gonna appear, hopefully he teams up with Sylar for some superhuman rapefest 2007.
Make sure you stay away form sites like E!Online then, since almost 80% of the news on that Heroes info page is collected from 'Kristin on E!Online'. Not that it seems probable that you'd go there in the first place :)
Heroes is great, its really not dumb as fuck in the slightest. Picking plot holes in a series about people that can fly, explode or stop time is quite redundant I think. It's not exactly a docu-drama is it?
