CUT AWAY! CUT AWAY!... In Guitar Hero IV
Kif | 4:27 PM on 05.08.2008 15 comments

I'm sure most gamers are too enthralled in Rock Band to even notice the Guitar Hero name anymore, but word on the street (And when I say street, I mean press release) is At The Drive-In's "One Armed Scissor" is the first official track confirmed for the fourth (Really 6th) installment in the series. Is this awesome [Y/N].

OK, so I'm questioning whether this is legit. For one, their source is a press release which no other website seems to have got. Second, I only found out about this website from a link to this article. Seems kind of odd some small site would get the scoop on this, especially from a press release.

So take this with a giant shaker of salt, and pray that it's true.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
May 8, 2008 — Huntington Beach, CA

Pick up your guitar and shred along to “One Armed Scissor” by At the Drive-In this summer on Guitar Hero IV. The game will be released this June on all major platforms including Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Nintendo Wii, PC, Mac and Nintendo DS. At The Drive-In will have their track included along with rock giants such as Aerosmith and Def Leppard.

Some the wording in the press release implies that this song will appear in GH: Aerosmith. But, the fact there is no mention of the PS2 version and to put out another version for the DS within such a small time is a little much. These two things make me think that this is false

Damnit Guitar Hero.

Could we at least get Invalid Litter Dept. or Extracurricular for Rock Band?

This album was pretty much the only thing i listened to for a couple years until Mars Volta came out and their bullshit pretentiousnesses made it hard to enjoy even this masterpiece.

I <3 Sparta, though.
