OK, when Apple talked about how the iPhone would be be a credible gaming platform, I and everyone else on the internet scoffed and went back to playing real games. But with Super Monkey Ball making an appearance, and now this, maybe it could be true. Sure they aren't the epic stories that cross the line between games and art, but for fun timewasters they can't be that bad.

The game looks very simple. It looks like the cart accelerates on it's own, and you tip the iPhone left or right to steer. Pressing the weapon box on the screen fires it, and it also features a nice looking map and leaderboard. What impressed me more was how good it looks. Watching the video, it looks fluid and fast. Obviously this is only one video, and for an iPhone game I doubt there will be many levels or carts (I nearly put "karts" then, and that would've been terrible), it looks solid.

There's little information about the game yet, but I'm assuming the game will end up on the App store sometime in the summer.
