When I first heard about this, I thought it sounded far too easy. Then I saw the video and it blew my mind. Some of these jumps are pixel perfect. No rings collected whatsoever, not even shields or invincibility. I just thought this was amazing considering the sea of Mario videos we see almost weekly. Sonic needs some love too (And by love, I mean "I like this game and think it's fucking awesome", not "I'll get on my deviantart account and draw up some Sonic and Tails porn")

Looks like there was some massive editing done. Just watch the bottom corner during the video and note how many times "state loading" and "state saving" pops up during the course of this.
