"Some nobody who works at Circle K can be a hero"
Khyber | 2:11 AM on 09.21.2007 5 comments

1:19 am and I'm still awake. I have this gut feeling that I'll find something worthwhile late at night. And I finally found a story from my local newspaper. They've got this article about a sandwich delivery dude who plays a game. Within the game he plays as an assassin that spelunkers dragons. Yes he does some sort of spelunking with or to dragons. And the monitor doesn't so any coherent information, no it looks like gibberish from the Matrix. The game he is playing is often called WoW. Read the article to learn about the dude that controls a level 70 dragon spelunking assassin.

The BBFC (British Board of Film Classification) has some info on a Mass Effect DVD which could be in the Limited Edition. I found a post on the official Mass Effect forum linking to the BBFC website. What's it gonna cost?
Khyber | 12:15 AM on 09.04.2007 10 comments

There are a handful of (hopefully) awesome games coming out for the 360. Usually I use Gamefly to solve my gaming fix but the upcoming roster of future releases screams to be purchased. So I'm was wondering how much it's gonna cost me to buy all these worthy games and Amazon is telling me that I need to mark a negative $479.93 in my check book. Which isn't all too bad given that I'm going to get a TON of downtime with each title. Below is the list of games that I'm going to buy. I knew ahead of time that I was going to be busy for a while so I haven't bought Bioshock yet.

1)Bioshock
2)Mass Effect
3)Assassin's Creed
4)Halo 3 Uber Expensive Edition
5)HL2 ep 1 & 2, Portal and TF2 - The Orange Box
6)COD 4
7)Ace Combat 6

Is there anything I forgot? I'm not totally sure about Eternal Sonata. PGR4 doesn't really get me too excited. GTA IV comes out next year which is a blessing in disguise since there's will be way too much going on till Christmas.

I'll never call myself a hardcore gamer since I feel that the title has to be bestowed upon an individual. I lived overseas as a kid and didn't have access to a lot of games. So I had to play the sh*t out of Top Gear 2 and Justice League Task Force for the SNES. Honestly I didn't think JLTF was that bad. I'm not kidding.

Now I've got myself a 360, DS McFatty, a very capable PC, a very much busted PS2 and an Xbox. I'll get a Wii and\or PS3 when their prices drop or they have a game that I MUST play. I quit the crack that is WoW a while ago to spend more time with the 360 and I haven't looked back.
