Now, I'm as much of a Tetris addict as the next guy, but this is a fine example of DLC being abused.
ok, Tetris costs 800MP ($10) which some people complain is high on its own. I think that's a fair price, plus I just bought Tetris Evolution durnig the last B2G1 sale at Toysrus.
But wait, that's not the problem, the problem comes with the 2000MP ($25) worth of add-on packages. The fact that these are all available the same day the game goes on sale shows that they are not "afterthoughts" and therefore should have been included in the original game.
The usual excuse of "we were limited by the 50mb limit" does not apply here, since the game and all addons currently available fit within 50 MBs...
So, whose fault is this kind of mistreatment? Is it the publishers for being greedy? Is it MS for allowing the publishers to treat us like this? Is it our fault for buying this crap, and making it profitible to treat us like this? I vote the third option. It's like SPAM email... If nobody bought the stuff they wouldn't do it, but as long as it remains profitable, they will keep doing it.
So, I'm not going to buy tetris splash at all, much less the download packs. I've already got Tetris Evolution to get my fix if I need one. Who's with me?
P.S. Yes, I know SPAM in all caps is meat product, lower case is email. don't care.
P.P.S. I still think Microsoft needs to work on some sort of price drop thing on all download content/games. I think it's rediculous the perfect dark zero map pack still costs the same as it did the day it was released tens of months ago.
P.P.P.S. I'll try to get better about including pictures for you guys in the future, I know it makes the reading part easier.
yeah, the new limit is 150, but i was under the impression they still had to get special permission if they wanted to go over 50, could be wrong, either way, yeah, they have no reason for pulling this crap
I'm checking the available DLC right now , and yeah it's pretty much themes and extra fishes. I can't see a reason why they couldn't have been on the original game, but at least it isn't Lumines bad.

Are the addon packs like game modes and such or only skins and pretty colors?
NO PICTURES, NO READ-Y
DVD DESIGN SMASH!!!!
Oh, and if you're not getting Tetris from a Nintendo console, you probably shouldn't bother. It's probably not from Elorg.
they are colors and extra fish to swim in the background from what i can tell.
supposedly has an aquarium screensaver function too.
I thought they said they weren't going to do this add-on shit after Lumines? Am I misunderstanding this?
Also, the limit on XBL games is 150, which further proves the point.
