Okay okay, so it's been slightly longer than 20 days, but I decided today was the day I re-visit my old friend, Purple Meteor.
For those playing along at home, I entered this into a recent Destructiod Artisans contest, but at the time of the contest I couldn't get in the supplies I needed to finish the project on time. So I entered him 3/4 finished. Today I decided to finish it once and for all.
So a few hours later, a new soldering iron, and some fancy swear words, I present to you my original vision for Purple Meteor:
He's waiting to suck some brains.
Surprisingly, this little side project went without too many major glitches. I'm worried that I may have learned some skills. Time will time.

Excuse me for being a n00b, but where does the Purple Heart come from?
Alex, Purple Meteor is from the Lucasarts adventure game, Maniac Mansion. This one in particular is from the NES version. This game got the ball rolling for Sam & Max, Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle, The Dig, Full Throttle, Indiana Jones, etc.
