Musings on Pokemon X and Y

So, this is my first blog post, eh? Somewhat scary, but I can manage. Oops, where are my manners? Hi, I'm Karmageddon, Pokemon fan (but I'm not a Nintendo fanboy!)
Firstly, here are my thoughts on Pokemon X/Y:
1) I hate the kawaii trainers, but the battles are epic :D
2) Fennekin is overrated.
3) Froakie is my starter of choice :)
The 3D graphics are good, but I fear that Game Freak may shrink the game world as punishment...
I'd like a bird's eye 3D view with occasional camera tilts, but alas, we have the over-the-shoulder camera. The French theme is nice and I hope we get to go to other European cities.
But if they model the criminal team after the Nazis, I WILL RIP OUT THEIR INTESTINES! I know that Nazism isn't generally considered offensive in Japan, so that concerns me.

Froakie appears to be either a Water/Flying or Water/Fighting, but I'd prefer the former. I hope they don't have crappy legendaries like the Musketeer Trio (I was like WTF?!) but Xerneas and Yveltal look cool, kudos for that, Game Freak! I'll wait until I see the differences between X and Y and then make my decision. As for spin-offs, a new stadium game focusing on X and Y would be nice.
