PC Splitscreen in Left 4 Dead!

I just came buckets. This guy at the Steam Community Forums was messing around the demo and found out that splitscreen was possible on the PC.

By creating a configuration file allowing a second player to use a Xbox 360 controller, you can have a friend right next to you screaming in fear.

Other controller support may be possible, but that would mean you'd have to make your own configuration file for that gamepad's buttons, which doesn't look that hard.

It's so awesome from VALVe to had this to the PC version, because as you can read from his post, the game has noticeable performance tweaks to allow the game to run at 1680X1050 with max settings 4xAA on a 8800gt, always at 60 fps.

Just picture this, four players and two PCs on LAN. HHHHHNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGG
