Hilarious. I'm on the last quest myself (although I have lots more side stuff to do -- you can't continue after beating the last one) and I love it too.
Do I not understand this because I haven't completed the main quest?
Did you ever get someone running up at you rigged with explosives?
kami its one of the luck stat random encounters ;D my friend ran into this as well lol.
For those that don't get the joke:
One of the random encounters in F3 involves escaped slaves asking you to remove an explosive collar from them.
If you try to remove it and fail their head blows up after a few seconds.
Since the comic character failed to disarm the bomb they shoot the slave so they get the xp for killing someone.

yeah i actually got my legs blown off trying to defuse one of those guys 30 minutes out of the vault.
wtf, I've never gotten one of those "quests".
Oh and I just beat FO 3. Not to spoil anything, but it was typical FO. It's just the end game pissed me off as I didn't even know it was the end of the game.
I loled... on the inside.
