Problems with Ninja Gaiden 2
KMCC | 7:40 PM on 06.29.2008 5 comments

I'm curious to see if anyone is having the same problem with Ninja Gaiden 2:

In Chapter 6, whenever I jump down the shaft behind the smoking door, after getting the
Bronze Key, my 360 freezes up completely. I've heard of 2 other people on the internets
having this exact same problem in the exact same spot. I've cleared the memory cache on
the 360, and exchanged the game for another copy, only to have it happen again at the exact
same spot.
I'm getting the impression this game may have been rushed out the door by Tecmo.
Anyone having similar experiences, or any advice? You know, besides geting my money back.

Ummmmmmmmmmmmm, not to burst your bubble or anything, but this kinda belongs in the forums, I know by doing it this way, more people will see it and respond, however, you are
pushing down other blogs.Unfortunately this is an unfavourable way of doing it, as you expose yourself to rightful critcism, so please go to the forums, the Dtioders are more than helpful over there, I am sure your problem will be resolved. :)

My bad, sorry.

I didn't have this specific problem, but the game was a little bit glitchy.

Gonna have to restart your file at Chapter 1 and, yes, NG2 was rushed out the door.

Yeah, the game is definitely glitchy -- weird loading issues, tearing and clipping, wonky camera. When NG2 is good, it's *real* good. It's just a shame that it's so unpolished.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?

Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
