About Me
I received an SNES console for Christmas when I was three years old, and my life was changed forever. Looking back on it, I realize this was only one month after the console released. My parents rock.

I've been an avid gamer ever since then, don't have the good fortune of living near very many people who like games in the same way I do. Please friend me on this site, XBLA, or PSN if you want to PLAY VIDEOGAMES or TALK about VIDEOGAMES some time.

I write for Tomopop.com, mostly about anime and game related toys, and Japanator.com, mostly about games.

I wonder if it's a problem that almost all of the games that I've been buying recently are just retro collections.

Just kidding, I could buy nothing but these and be totally happy.

There are actually still several others that I'm still looking for. I want to find Megaman X Collection, Samurai Shodown Anthology, and I wonder if there's another SNK Arcade Classics, as the first is titled Vol. 1. I know there's a Fatal Fury collection, but I don't care much for that series. I also saw a Midway arcade collection at a GameStop recently and almost got it before I remembered that Midway arcade games blow.

Do the rest of you like to get these? Am I missing any other good ones?

There's a Capcom Classics Collection for GBA one that has Bionic Commando. I found it for $10 at Best Buy once.

But I want the PS2 Capcom Classics.

Midway Arcade Treasures 1 is pretty awesome, except for a shitty music bug in Smash TV.

Activision Anthology for GBA/PS2/PC has some great 2600 games on it, including Enduro, Frostbite, and Pitfall. Ditto for the Atari Anthology (PC/Xbox/PS2) which has a few arcade games in addition to 70 or so 2600 games.

Also, there's a King of Fighters collection for Wii and PS2.

More:
The Legend Of Zelda: Special Collector's Edition (GCN)
Konami Collector's Series: Catlevania & Contra (PC)
Pinball Hall Of Fame: The Williams Collection (Wii/PSP/PS2)
Animal Crossing (GCN) [for the NES games]
Super Mario All-Stars + Super Mario World (SNES)
Sonic Mega Collection (PS2/Xbox/GCN/PC) [has Knuckles In Sonic 2 and Sonic 3 & Knuckles]
Sonic Gems Collection (GCN)
Sonic Adventure DX (GCN) [All of the Sonic Game Gear games are unlockable]
The Bard's Tale (PC) [Contains the first 3 original Bard's Tale games]

Wow, I hadn't even heard of the Konami collection, but it registers as a very big DO WANT. I'll also look into KoF, Capcom GBA (I see it for $10 at the store all the time), and Pinball.

I also thought about getting the Resident Evil bundle that they sell, but I had already played 4 and didn't know if the other two were good. I'm looking to play 2 & 3, as I've only played RE:DS and RE4.

I'm not really into old Atari games, but thanks for the mention.

I have 4 of the 10 you show up there. (Taito Legends 1 & 2 for PS2/TL1 for Xbox, Mega Man:Aniv.Coll. for Xbox) I really need to get the SNK & Capcom collections, as well as the Metal Slug Anthology for the Wii.

No SNK Volume 2 (at least not yet), but I do wonder if you're aware that, while there were 2 Taito collections released here, there were 4 of 'em in Japan (and yes, I have the whole set). That said, there were a handful of exclusives on the US collections, so it's not all bad on our end. I might also mention the handful of nice shooter collections (Gradius, Parodius, Salamander, Twinbee, Space Invaders, Star Soldier) on the PSP, though you'll have to import most of them.

EA Replay is a PSP exclusive.

Power Stone Collection is just the two game for PSP...

Do you have the Activision one? It's out for PS2 and PSP..

And there is the Midway Arcade Treasures..

Ultima Collection, Roberta Williams Anthology, Leisure Suit Larry Collection, Quest for Glory Anthology, Police Quest Collection, Space Quest Collection, Intellivision Lives!, Masterpices of Text Adventures from Infocom for PC...

iD Anthology is super rare, it would be cheaper to get the Steam collection, but id Anthology has some rare obscure games not included in that collection.... But most of them aren't worth it... XP

That's all I remember for now...
