I've been wondering what happened to Tristero, too.

There's a "where is Tristero" post every few weeks, but no one ever gives us a definitive answer. WE WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO MATT!

Maybe as a side idea for you, you can try to get in contact with some people who've left us (Nex, Houghton, Summa etc.) and interview them to see how they are doing.

I'll be hanging out with tristero very soon, his birthday just passed not too long ago and this past weekend he had an epic party at a minigolf place filled with drugs and booze!

I'm actually not lying about any of that, hehe :)

RUMORS OF MY DEATH HAVE BEEN GREATLY EXAGGERATED

Hey fellow Destructoiders,

I know I've been super M.I.A. lately (and I don't mean of the Tamil Tigerista variety, either). I've contacted a few of you in private, but I realized that I haven't been in touch with a lot of you recently and for that I apologize.

Around the beginning of this year a lot personal things came up for my family and a close friend of mine. While I'm definitely doing okay, between my normal 50-hr a week job and taking care of a lot of personal business, I have not been doing the best job of getting back in touch with people.

There have been some unreturned phone calls and emails and for that I supremely apologize (Miguel, Phistoid, athiestium, Unstoppable Juggernaut, CTZ and Mr. Workmeng, I'm thinking of you). I am sorry for not always getting back to you, but I do hope you'll take my word for it when I tell you it's nothing personal.

I admire everyone at Destructoid and am constantly impressed with the awesome work you put out. The editors and the community members work tirelessly to build this videogame empire. You're doing a great job with the site and you have my unending moral support for what it is you're doing. I wanted you to hear it from me that I think everyone here is awesome. As soon as I do any more videogame related work it will end up at Destructoid's door step immediately.
