This is the first of a "probably" regular series asking about what happened to frequenters of Destructoid who have not been seen in a while, now I actually have no idea about where Tristero is, that's why I'm asking the blogging community.
Tristero was a man who used to write funny and interesting blogs, then he won last year's PAX contest with
this video and became an editor (permanantly I believe). He has a brother on the site called walnutthewise who, like his brother, used to post but no longer does.
Any information would be helpful.

I've been wondering what happened to Tristero, too.
Others I were considering for number 1 of this series include Reeper and ElectroLemon, but they have both been returned safely to the families, with minor injuries so no questions there.
The case continues...

RUMORS OF MY DEATH HAVE BEEN GREATLY EXAGGERATED
Hey fellow Destructoiders,
I know I've been super M.I.A. lately (and I don't mean of the Tamil Tigerista variety, either). I've contacted a few of you in private, but I realized that I haven't been in touch with a lot of you recently and for that I apologize.
Around the beginning of this year a lot personal things came up for my family and a close friend of mine. While I'm definitely doing okay, between my normal 50-hr a week job and taking care of a lot of personal business, I have not been doing the best job of getting back in touch with people.
There have been some unreturned phone calls and emails and for that I supremely apologize (Miguel, Phistoid, athiestium, Unstoppable Juggernaut, CTZ and Mr. Workmeng, I'm thinking of you). I am sorry for not always getting back to you, but I do hope you'll take my word for it when I tell you it's nothing personal.
I admire everyone at Destructoid and am constantly impressed with the awesome work you put out. The editors and the community members work tirelessly to build this videogame empire. You're doing a great job with the site and you have my unending moral support for what it is you're doing. I wanted you to hear it from me that I think everyone here is awesome. As soon as I do any more videogame related work it will end up at Destructoid's door step immediately.
