I doubt that's the big announcement. More like MS Gates is leaving the company to the next head honcho while he does his side quests.
I am hoping the announcement has some thing to do more with Digital Distributions, but I doubt it will be that. It'll prob be something stupid... no matter how big they claim the announcement to be.. it will not be something that will interest us much.. I can just see it now.
The guitar controllers are probably there so Bill Gates can play Guitar Hero III and make himself look like an ass once again.
@Electrobes: I'm guessing the announcement doesn't actually have that much to do with gaming but I feel that it will be a pretty big announcement for Microsoft.

we will either hear "stay the course" on hd dvd or we will not a word on hd dvd at all.
