I’ve come to the conclusion, that Destructoid is the best gaming blog in the history of the universe. As a long time lurker of the site (on other not-to-mention blogs as well) I had the shocking realization that not every gaming community is full of tools and tossers who tear each other down for their opinions. Destructoid seems small enough to have an aura of courtesy about it, but it’s also popular enough to have obtained the ability to gain stories other sites WISH they had. I’ve yet to visit a blog, professional or other, that has brought me down as much as the cynical, and negativity-filled, “other sites.”

In all complete honesty, this place makes me proud to be a gamer again.

D-toid has been a way for me to not only gain a grotesquely immense amount of information; but also a community I can trust and grow in. Hopefully, I’ll get to know many of you very soon, and if all goes well, you’ll get to know me even better.

Thanks for being here Destructoid; in all your beautiful, wind-up robotic glory. This is the intro-level to a beautiful friendship.
