For 14" inches of righteous, unstoppable fury!
@-D-
..maybe I'm a little over-excited, but I genuinely enjoyed this flick.
Frachise, FTW!

No, don't get me wrong I thought it was a cool flick, but it needs to remain standalone and not turned into some merch whoring, sequel churning pile of dump. knowimean?
I completely agree. It definately doesn't need a sequel.
What it DOES need is a cross-over:
"Cloverfield Monster Vs. King Kong: Mutant Force Strike, Go!!"
-JD
Solid. We've made some real progress here, today.
Rad banner, btw. Zombies Ate My Neighbors + Shaun of the Dead, you can't go wrong with that combo!
Absolutely.
10 Parasites? If the figure is 14" tall...and the actual monster is 400 feet. The actual parasites are 6-7 feet, how big, SCALE, are the parasite figures. Interesting math problem I dont feel like figuring out.
But all math aside, I agree that all the extras make this well worth it.

However, this was a total fandom post for yours truly.
Hence the coinage of "Random Fandom" :)

They've already confirmed that Matt Reeves might be doing a sequel, so let the franchise whoring come. Doesn't bother me, but then again, I own like, 20 Godzilla movies so I'm a slut for giant monsters...
It totally does though! Check out the Cloverfield Monster on Wiki. There's a link there that takes you to a Cloverfieldwiki with some good shots. His tail seemed a little bit longer in the flick, but it might be the shots of the toy.
@Animated
That's a good question. But in the movie he can kindof stand like a Gorilla sometimes I thought. He kind of walks on his fists at some parts. Maybe its like a twist off bottle top :)
Did you see the Godzilla vs. American Godzilla flick? I heard it was great, but haven't gotten a chance. I LOVE giant mosnter movies !!!
@Emo
There will be no sucking of any dicks in my blogs sir. Even IF you're Cloverfield :) Lawlz.

Thats the spirit! I <3 amateur filmmakers Go see the movie, though. You need to see it before it leaves theaters, otherwise the epicness will not be as...well, epic.
@ironman
Speaking of Iron Man, Go to unstoppablejuggernaut's blog and check out what he wants to do. Fuckin, Epic!

Using your calculations of the monster's size, if my math is correct and the parasites are the same scale as the larger figure, each parasite should be .2-.25 inches. In other words, absurdly tiny. My guess is they won't be quite to scale.
14" monster figure though? Yes please.
and the parasites look like bugs from Starship Troopers too.
Yeah totally. Thats an idea that has been tossed around the web pretty heavily. I thought that as soon as I walked out, too.
As for the parasites, I thought Starship Troopers as well, only mixed with a hint of Pitch Black.
