Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
I have absolutely no problems with you posting your V-Blogs here on Destructoid however it would be more advisable to put your youtube account in your description rather than using our C-Blogs to get them broadcasted.
If you have something constructive to say to the Destructoid community do it with words it'll pass a little bit easier than with video. Because all I can see in your posts is blatant promotion of your original content.
If you want to participate in videogame discussions I would suggest adopting a more conservative way. It won't however affect the promotion of your youtube videos in your description bar.
I hope you'll consider this as a friendly advice.
@Kraid, I can't say I fully understand. For one, it's not like my videos are off-topic, given the nature of Destructoid. If I were making videos of myself eating, then I'd understand people's frustration (I'd probably be frustrated with myself, really). The subjects of my videos, however, are things that the authors of Destructoid talk about themselves. The line "blatant promotion of your original content" is also fairly confusing. Was I not supposed to be posting original content on here? I am mindful of the written component, and will probably be making some pontifications in that form some time soon (having a free hour will be the deciding factor). Anyhow, thanks for the comment.
To put it simply: If you had written out your arguments in the form of an article, it would definitely have gotten more attention from people here. I spend way too much time watching Youtube videos already...
