Hm, I wonder why. Since production costs are down 70%, why not just reduce the price of the current model and package inFamous or something in? If they make the slim, it will either be cheaper (hopefully) or the same price or more for the extra luxury of it not taking up 10 square feet.
And the German Amazon site and that's it? You can't really trust these early and unconfirmed links, it doesn't always mean a confirmation (although it often does).

I doubt they'd make a listing on rumour alone, but I do see where you're getting at. All it means to me is that there is the possibility of an announcement very soon.
