Ballz was fucking amazing back in the day. I use to be addicted to fighting games as well. I think that's starting to go away but I'm still in love with Killer Intinct.
Yea, I would love to be the Rhino looking dude and charge at people... I am glad someone else likes it as well.
I totally forgot about this game but I played the hell out of it at a friends house. Awesome man.
...Huh. I can barely remember playing that one (I was a Genesis man myself). I actually popped in here to see why someone would be ashamed of playing fighters.

@ Tenro the Gensis version of this game was horrible due to some frame rate issues. They had to redo the whole game and the cost went up on it.. Snes had all the bells and whistle to it, but it had censored stuff in it...
I hated Killer Instinct, Kryptinite. Never understood it. To each his own though.
Also, never played this game about ballz.

What, no Clayfighters?! My guilty pleasure among fighting games was the EXTREMELY TERRIBLE Fighting Masters. Every character had only three moves, and this is in the heyday of the Genesis. Still, somehow...I found the game to be amazing as a kid. Now, I'd probably just want to punch a baby.

This game looks awful
I enjoy most genres, but fighters have a special place for me. I was sucked more into the Street Fighters and then moved on to Tekken. Stoked for the new SF. And like you said, there isn't anything quite like decimating someone on a fighting game.
