Yeah, those are all meant for kids and dissing any console with terms like "baby games" has nothing to do with fanboyism. Ri-i-i-i-i-ight.
I don't necessarily agree with the fact that there are tonnes of fanboys on Dtoid rambling non stop about their love for a specific console. To me, most of the people on toid seem really mature about their love for video games, and like and dislike different things about the big three.

So do I, but that doesn't make it better or worse than other consoles, which is what Sessler was on about. I simply makes it our preference.
It's the whole VHS/Beta, Commodore/Atari/PC, Blu-ray/HDDVD, "less filling/tastes great" stupidity all over again - only with more childishness. And it gets old quickly.
I don't even believe in "fanboys". Fanboy-ism is just another manifestation of douche-baggery. Its just people being a douche in a very specific way.
And no matter how much you decry them or call for change, a douche will always be a douche; So its not even worth bothering about. If it upsets or offends you, just don't read that website anymore. Simple.
Most people here who dispise the Wii do so with good reason. You listed what, eight games? That's literally the extent of games I want to play on it. Not those games specifically, but you get the point. This far into it's life cycle that is a ridiculously low number. Hell, the only reason I've played my Wii lately is the (glorious) re-emergence of point and click adventure games.
Also, the only time I ever see this "hatred" of the wii, it's usually on posts concerning some new peripheral that, while maybe an uneducated gamer will get it and have fun, someone like me will scoff at. Twenty dollars for a golf club attachment? Nintendo has earned itself the right to be ridiculed and shamed IMHO. Why should they care though? Their machines print money!
This rampant fanboyism really only ruins things if you let it. I learned long ago to judge based on my own opinions and realities and not to feed the trolls. Chances are you won't be able to sway someone with your indepth choice of games and reasons if they're just thinking of a response while you're talking.
While it does have many good games and a few gems like Mario Galaxy, the console has simply not lived up to it's potential. And Nintendo isn't helping matters, as this is the first Christmas in my entire life I have no Nintendo games I want.
That's just sad....
There are no plans to bring Fatal Frame here as of yet, actually. Unfortunate.

This person obviously has no clue about the Wii library nor does he care to. He is just hating to be hating or he is an extremely picky gamer which throws him out of the league of being hardcore.
