Ok, we've all seen my posts talking about how awesome Goozex is, but let's take it back a little bit... get a little more old school.
Straight up game swapping via Cheap Ass Gamer has been a way to get awesome games for many years for me now and I may have just hit the motherload today.
And by motherload I mean I think I came a little bit when I opened the box and saw everything.
By unloading a good few of my more current games (like Crisis Core and Riviera for PSP, FFIII for DS, some Shining games and Shadow Hears 2 for PS2, some Zelda Cube titles and what not) I got 5 games in return.
Yes, I traded about a dozen for only 5.
Why on earth would I trade 12 games (some rare or valuable) just for 5 measly games?
It's obvious that it's gotta be SOMETHING big with such a large scale trade, right?
I could explain it all to you, but pictures speak louder than words...
Thousand Arms
Einhander
Tales of Destiny II
Arc the Lad Collection
Wild Arms 2
Rock the fuck on.
I hate you, by the way.
*runs off to CAG to trade*
I'm ashamed.
On CAG you check trade lists and contact people directly to either buy or swap. You gotta check the forums, read all the topics and find stuff you might actually want.
Goozex is kind of where you make a list and wait for things to happen automatically.
The first one was goooooood
My sis has Thousand Arms. Awesome game is awesome. It what got me into j-music and a hard fappin boner for Ayumi Hamasaki.
I mean...we all didn't have money back when PS1 was the current gen. Not like everyone has time to buy all the games either.
These games weren't always rare or expensive; years ago, some were even $10!
If you think I enjoyed having my games stolen or being forced to sell them back then, please think again. It's good to have these back but there are still so many more I want back, and they aren't all PS1, that's just what this trade consisted of.
Hmmm, sounds like something I should definitely take a look into, since all those games you got, I'm looking for, minus Tales of Destiny II. I guess I have to wait until group project and exam hell ends. -_-' Thanks again for the introduction to another site and all man! d('-'d)
@ ARTTEMIS
I grew up in a Nintendo household and eventually branched out. I played some random games on the PS at friends' houses and such, but I never got interested in it until my brother borrowed his friend's modded PS . . . which is also how I gained my obsession/fandom of Breath of Fire III! Some people like JoeCamNet and Shin Oni may have played games and are looking for them again. Myself? I've gone into collecting . . . and it's a system that has DOZENS of collectable games!
and right back to me second comment. When Wild Arms 2 was out, I had no money or a job to buy games on a consistant basis as now.
in all its plasticky glory
