Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
- How much did she pay? My own curiosity as to how much I could sell my copies for.
- Why is it not in protective casing yet? I would suggest you track down SNES protective plastic case right away if you're going to risk displaying games of that nature. Worst case you should buy a standard acid-free polypropylene sleeve.
Awesome.
She'd be even greater if you actually did want it, but never told her (albeit, directly). That's incredibly cool of her, though.
Grats on the great catch! XD
Also, Blookylip, dreamcasts go for about $50. So now, you do not win.
Jordan Grim Devore - Yes it is. Goddamned near flawless and fully complete. Scratch & Sniff cards are unscratched too.
Jamnontheone - She paid a lot. Not going into price becuase it's more than it should have been, but she was pissed at the other bidder and was determined to win. Also, it's not in protective casing because I'm not THAT insane of a collector. I'm actually going to play it too! I'm just glad to own it again, I don't need it sealed up for all time.
Lightthrower - eBay my friend, and the condition was the reason she got it.
Doomsday Forte - Yeah, she knew I wanted it. She bought it while I was at work when the auction ended. I only found out because she posted about it on her LiveJournal (remember that site?)
SquirrelyG - Not to mention my Lunar 1 & 2 sitting off to the side... check previous entries for my full setup. You may shit yourself.
Atlas - *high five*
Bbrigg1 - Already did, good sir...already did.
Garison - That one for under $200 is in shit condition. You get what ya pay for I guess.
I apologize for any typos but I am somewhat still blind right now, but first of all, kickass gift to you from you wife! ^_^ Secondly, I apologize I could not confimr the Project Sylpheed to you on Goozex, but when that request went through, I was getting emergency eye surgery done. If you still want it and such and you have not gotten a new "sender" I would be more than happy to send it to you by goodwill for introducting me to Goozex in the first place and all, but it will have to wait about a week until my eyesight has fully recovered!
