This would never happen on the Wii (because Wii games usually don't have leaderboards or online features of any kind).

You are right! This amazing ironic moment in a 3rd party game certainly spells doom for the 360.
I would have played my Wii instead but I ran out of candles to put on top of my TV.
Interesting coincidence though, or is it? If you are both of equal or near equal skill with other variables remaining more or less the same this is in fact very probable. I'm bored at the moment.
Looking at our level shows that this is not as simple as us having near equal skill, although I do think we are pretty fairly matched.
It's strange that we, at different levels, are able to rank side by side amongst millions of people in more than one leader board at a time over a period of time. This isn't a stranger, either, but one of my best friends.
