I signed into Xbox Live this morning to find two of my friends (PonyBones and ETron) playing Mass Effect. Etron, a staff member over at
x360a.com, told me that K-Mart broke street date. PonyBones told me the same. I was out the door on my way to K-Mart faster than Puppet could say "fag".
When I arrived at K-Mart, I couldn't find it at first. I had to look at the stickers to locate it. Sure enough, they it was.
Get over to K-Mart ASAP. There may still be time for you, too. Good luck, my friends!
I <3 K-Mart.
Edit: I slacked this morning and didn't realize Jim Sterling posted about this, so I thought I'd show him love and try to hook him up with some hits.
B) die in a fire.
( Even if highlighted w/ NEON Orange Tape! )

(if anyone knows any k-marts selling mass effect early in northern Indiana, PLEASE TELL ME!!! Will suck for game... (well, ok, maybe not really)
durrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
haha, joe!
@Blindside, this is far from a generic shooter. Far far far.
@Tron Knotts, yes it is good. It's complicated, actually. I'm still trying to figure out all the menus and what all this shit means. There seems to be a pretty steep learning curve. They don't explain much but I'm not saying all of this is a bad thing.
haha, I kid!
"Cry Some More!"
BTW, x360a.com is my #1 source for getting info on 360 achievements. The forums there are great if you ever need help.
Buck, are you having major Halo2 cutscene style texture pop-ins?
I'm having the same debates updating my team characters as I did when I first encountered a little sister in BioShock.
I'm enjoying this game more and more and...
You, sir, win.
@GrayFox, at times it's very much a shooter, but much more complicated. It almost reminds me of GRAW the way that it adds depth to the shooter-style gameplay but in a different way... a better way. However, at times it is heavily an RPG. It's Jade Empire in space with guns.
Also, normally when I'm watching conversation in a game, I'm constantly reminded that I'm watching a video game. It's hard to ignore the way a video game looks (unrealistic) even this generation. However, in Mass Effect, I find myself often forgetting that I'm playing a game. It feels more like I'm watching a movie at time (but obviously it's interactive).
The more I play it, the more I understand the way it should be played and the better it gets. It just keeps getting better. I highly recommend this game to anyone who is a fan of RPG's.
Can't... wait... 8... days...
I think the game is flat out amazing... a friend asked me if it was better than Halo 3 or Bioshock... it simply doesnt even compare...not in the same league. I dont like RPG's and i cant stop playing this game... i might get two copies and an extra xbox just to make sure ill always be able to play it.
