Oi cunts,

Tomorrow your humble monocle-wearer is heading up to the midlands to enjoy the company of THQ and Rare and get his hands on Viva Pinata: Pocket Paradise for the Nintendo DS. I aim to be having some Q&A time with the guys behind it, and turn to you, the Destructoid Army, for some good questions. I will try and ask as many as I get.

Do keep it to Viva Pinata though, as I doubt they'll be wanting to talk about "Oi prick why does Banjo drive a car now?" VP on the DS is a pretty interesting scenario, in my book, and I know you guys can come up with some good questions regarding it.

I have two questions, 1) Why did Rare decide to make a Viva 1.5 and not a sequel? 2) Was Banjo change from platformer to part racer because of outside influences such as other games or Microsoft?

Their official response to the 360/DS connectivity is that the idea was conceptualized too late in the dev cycle and they didn't have time to implement it.

Ask them what kind of WiFi features it will have.

How big is it going to be, compared to the first 360 version?

Is it gonna be more of a port of Viva Pinata 1 to the DS, or VP2 or is it going to be very different. As far as garden sims can be different... What makes the DS stand apart from the other versions if you already played VP1 on the 360 and don't really need anything else other than VP2 when it's out? One VP game every 2 years is kinda enough for me, you know.

I know you can transfer pinatas from one ds to another via wi-fi but ask them if they plan to have any online features.
