erlier in the week i was having problems finding enough people to even start a ranked game in gears... okayed for a while today... my skill remains generally below average with bursts of greatness.
Jim, I actually played with some of your fellow countrymen today, although one sounded Icelandic to me... any idea what part of England might sound similar to American ears?

Not really. You can still find decent matches on Gears. Lots of people, although I live on the east coast, USA. But Jim is right, alot of shit players, even my Girlfriend was kicking ass the other night. As for me, I'm stuck on Halo 3.
That's because the guys at Garage Games still play it all the time =X. They're fucking hardcore.
