Good points all. Most of them I agree with. Let me hit you up with the things I liked from their conference and what things I think are bullshit.
I'm definitely going to be getting L4D2 and Crackdown 2, regardless of whether I feel like L4D2 should be DLC or at least an episodic expansion.
Same thing goes for the Halo games. Been there done that. So now instead of Master Chief, I'm get to be an ODST and I get what for compensation? A fucking visor that changes the shades of brown in front of you. Whoopty-fucking-do! Halo:Reach is too far away to really discuss.
MW2 is just MW1 with new levels and better graphics. Been there done that.
I am really looking forward to renting Splinter Cell and Alan Wake though. Not willing to drop the major cash on them though.
Some of the XBL stuff is just ridiculous. I already have to ignore a majority of people on FB because they fucking update their statuses EVERY hour. And I hate Twitter so none of this excites me. I do like that they are adding a browsing feature for those of us that have Netflix on our 360's though.
Now on to the interesting things. After seeing Milo I knew we were doomed my friends. Every movie with an AI always goes bad in the end. Skynet has been launched! WABAM!! But seriously, this is a gimmick. I don't see this being something most gamers will want to use for serious gaming. Would hate to actually have to perform the motions of a basketball player to get him to shoot. I'm a gamer damn it!! I want to sit on my couch and eat cheetos and play games!
What I think is funny from this blog is how seeing where people's loyalties lie. Bunny couldn't have sucked M$'s dick any harder if he was a vaccuum cleaner. Or a $5 hooker.

is the new metar gear game 360 exclusive? i didn't hear any reference to exclusive Wexx. ms spend too much time talking about a project and not enough time talking about games. sony had the game showings this year, unless you count each halo game as a different game but i don't. i was really wanting more crackdown info.
I missed everything when it was first announced, but in reading up on E3 after the fact I've got to say that I'm more hyped for MS's upcoming slate than I thought I'd be, and definitely moreso than Nintendo and Sony. A lot of follow ups and sequels and far-off things, but they still managed to really get me to anticipate the majority of it.
Of course, after it's all said and done I remember that the majority of the third-party stuff is also going to hit my PS3, so that puts things back in perspective, but the hype is still there in me.

Natal seemed pretty cool, and a few of the games were hot. But for me that sums up the whole E3 Microsoft press conference. The possibilities of Natal could be endless and be a next step in technology for peoples homes outside of gaming once that technology starts actually being used for something that could benefit mankind more than just entertainment. Unless that comes to fruition in the near future that really sums up E3 Microsoft Press Conference for me.
With L4D2, I really don't think it could be done as a patch or DLC, with what their adding, specifically the engine updates. I don't think you can change an engine with a simple patch.
I really would not like to sit there and wait for 6 hours, only to find out the patch didn't do shit, and I have to sit there and update it again, or worse, download the whole game again because my the patch managed to break my shit. I'd rather just buy a stand-alone on disk.

@Qraze & Wexx
The MGSR poster has the Playstation logo on it. Not exclusive to 360.

MW2, L4D2 FFXIII and MGS: Rising will all be day one purchases for me. This was the first time I'd paid any attention to Alan Wake and I have too say it looks amazing. Anything that looks like a combination of Lost & Twin Peaks is enough to get me excited.
I think I agree with Wexx the most, personally, except for the fact that MGS isn't exclusive. (This was probably before we found that out, though.)
Microsoft truly underwhelmed me this year. I was actually looking for a reason to pick up a 360 again, but they didn't make me come any closer to getting one than I was last week. Sony's motion solution just blew Microsoft's away, and Nintendo had all the excellent games. Microsoft had nothing that interested me, except for MGS. And I'll get that for the PS3.
