I figured this was worthy of my first post.


I've followed Destructoid for quite some time now, it's my favorite video gaming news site by far.

I mainly only read, commenting maybe once, or twice. One time, I decided to give a whack at a contest, offering a free copy of the game Galactic Civilizations 2: Dark Avatar, because I owned a copy of the game prior in the series, Dread Lords.

I made a forum account and posted my answers. I was pretty sure I was wrong. Throughout my life I've never entered in any contests and never bothered; I have pathologically poor luck.

So as a result, I never followed up on said contest and went off on my merry way checking Dtoid on my RSS feed and playing video games whilst attending college. Today, while on a narcissistic binge, I googled my screen name (jehutus) and discovered, aside from myself bitching on some retarded ass roleplayer video game forums, a blog post at the bottom of the list:

I won, and apparently did so admirably, as shown by the "By far" next to my name. It's a shame, because I still play and love dread lords, and drool longingly at Dark Avatar, as my college-student-working-two-jobs budget cannot afford to purchase anything more than used+months-old+greatist-hits games

So, it's official people. I'm a retard. Congrats to me.
