Whats up guys.... i know... its been tooo damn long.... you know how it goes tho, you get busy, you go to turkish prision, have to build planets... etc... anyways, i wanted to kick off my newest post with a surprise!!

I couldn't wait for the contest to be done to share my ps3 theme with you guys, so im gonna post it here! It took me over 20 hours to make, pixel by pixel and there is only one tiny piece of the theme that i can't take credit for... the pic of dtoid man in the photo icon is somone else's, i don't know who, but i can't take credit for that, but i can take credit for everything else!! :)

Edit: FYI.. to get on your ps3, just make the following directory on your flash drive...
PS3/THEME/ and place it in the theme folder, Cheers!

Hey PKN, did you make the correct directories on the flash/removable media? I tested it just now and its working for me, just make sure on your removable media that you make a filder in the root directory called "PS3" and then you have to make another directory in that folder and call it "THEME" and then put the p3t file in the "THEME" folder... it should look like this.... E:\PS3\THEME\destructoid.p3t

then... make sure you go to "Install" when selecting your theme to install it! Thanks for the comments!

My bad... I tried throwing the file into like 8 different places on my psp memory stick but I didn't realize it had a specific place to go. Thanks for the help and great work!

I'd have to say my favorite icons are for Block User and Players Met. Sweet!

Well done, Jay! I�m using the theme right now � it�s up there with the best of them on PSU (the Okami one). Just one minor suggestion: I was wondering if you could move the DESTRUCTOID logo on the wallpaper up a bit. From your image above, the text is right at the bottom of the screen; the TV might even be cutting off the last row of pixels (or at least, my TV is doing that...damn overscan). I�m only losing a few pixels � like, less than 5 � but it�s noticeable. Here�s a picture (I have my PS3 set to output at 720p, but it cuts off just as much at 1080i):

Here�s a close-up; I�ve drawn in a white line to delineate the edge of my screen from the body of the TV:

I suggest moving the logo up so it doesn�t get cut off on any TVs. Just some constructive criticism...otherwise, this theme rocks!

Hey man, thanks for the compliments. Yeah, i will fix it and update my links and update my submission as well, i appreciate the tips. Hopefully i can make some cool ones in the future too, its very time consuming, especially if its to be done from scratch with no stock images. Cheers!

its looks awesome i set the backround back to katamari but everything looked awesome all the icons are very creative there was like one or two that still needed to be changed still am currently updating to 2.01 so i will post again when i find it them

seriously ive been looking for a half decent theme for my ps3 for ages but this one is beyond fucking amazing. I love it, it makes my ps3 look even sexier. just every little detail you have thought of it and its amazing. Better than any theme sony could ever make.
You'll prolly get a phone call being offered a job. I cant wait to see ur cola one in action aswel, thats looking sweet.
