"...we were finally able to get out and enjoy some wonderful Ohio weather."
Hmm... that's not a word I would choose to describe Ohio weather. Although I guess it hasn't been too bad these last few days.
Also, I like the grim reaper you got! I think it kinda looks cool in gray, but perhaps it would look even better in black. Now I really want to go to a flea market.

Lovely post, it felt very relaxed and homey, wouldn't mind one of those cookies ! And that statue was pretty darn rad !
mmmmm... cookies!!
Sounds like a wonderful weekend! Myself, I did do some gaming with my husband... which is always nice.

Are you familiar with Spooky Town? Its like a Christmas village but Halloween themed? I collect the new sets every year. One day, when I have a house I plan to have a room that's just dedicated to Spooky Town.
@Everyone - The cookies have always been a big hit. I use to sell them when we'd have garage sales, those and my cutout Halloween cookies.
@bbain - Think I prefer this cool weather better than roasting like we did the previous weeks! When it gets above 85 I stop enjoying. I'm a fall person anyway. One of the reasons we moved back up here from Florida.
@Kaggen and VenusFurs - The lady wanted $4.00 for him. I reached in my pocket and pulled out maybe a couple dollars in change, if that, and told her that was all I had. Sold. And I've never had a good outcome using magic beans. ;)
@Elsa - I made up for it last night. :)
@Stevil - Have no clue where I got that can from. But it's one of 4 that have game related labels.
@Occams - Yes, I am. My ex and I use to live in an old Victorian home, so I started collecting Halloween villages and various antique Halloween decorations. I have enough decorations to fill a big house, every room, and unfortunately no room to display them at my current location.
My village collection consists mainly of the Department 56 Halloween houses, although I haven't bought anything new for years because of the price. At the time they were a nice alternative from kitchen items, which my ex seemed to always buy for me before I corrected him on the error of his ways. ;)

Moooom can we have some coookiees. Please? Hehe.
Great to see someone else who loves Halloween. If I had my way, which I don't my humble abode would better reflect Occam's place except with more halloween/horror paraphenalia.
Great blog as always.

Looks like it was a fun day - even the running around, losing money, and trying to get back in time! You've reminded me that I need to get out and hit up the open-air market a few more times this year, while there's still sunlight. (If this year is anything like last year, it's gonna rain from September until May...)
Also, nice find on the Ace-of-Spades Reaper - I don't collect much in the way of "stuff" but I totally would have bought that on sight.
