What if I've finally turned into what they've always said I would turn into? A maniac. A psycho killer. A guy who enjoys quoting Sin City.

In a brief description, I play all genres of games. My personal favorites are and always will be platformers and shoot 'em ups. Galaga is probably the first shoot 'em up I have ever played and still manages to hold my attention to this day. Platformers, jeez, far too many for me to name. There are a few FPSs I like, but only if they manage to be different enough from the rest. I have my fair share of fun with other genres as well. Except fighters, I tend to be pretty bad at those but it still doesn't put a hamper on the amount of fun I can get from them.

I was born in 1990, my first video game system was a Sega Genesis and it was probably the best thing I had ever had the chance to play. As the years went, as did my interest in the video games field. Parents and relatives usually got me game consoles for birthday and christmas gift, you wouldn't believe how excited I was when I got my first SNES. My older brother and I did all we could to pool money together to buy GameBoys (Possibly a GameGear at some point as well) and eventually the Playstation 1 and 2. I can safely say that I have interacted with every Nintendo, Sega, Sony, Microsoft, and a few Atari consoles and handhelds at least once. As of now, I still play games as often as I can, despite my game library has not been expansive as it once was when I was in my "prime." Since GameFly and various other rental places popped up, I have still been able to keep playing to my heart's content.

As of now, college usually eats up some days. Whenever I'm not doing college activities, I am improving my drawing abilities, watching movies, expanding my musical tastes both new and old, partying with friends, eating cultural food and, of course, playing games.

And I am a sucker for just about anything film noir, enough so that I occasionally write in that style. Rad stuff.

I got bored, so I took the opportunity to try a more realistic/mature style. Tried getting an idea, didn't get one for a few days, played some Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia, got owned by Drac (I never saw his running animation coming, I didn't know what to do :[), and decided to do something Castlevania-related.

Let me tell you, I'm pretty bad when it comes to long hair, and I completely forgot how long Shanoa's hair was. How does she fight with all that around her anyway? So I limited it to a few strands, because I know that there's no way that I can do fifty strands of hair. Not at the stage I'm at right now. But I love how everything came out shading-wise. Also felt like giving Shanoa some soulless eyes since I think it would have fit her better than anything else I could have done.

This was a fun two-day project, even though it took me an entire day to get the hair down alone, holy crap. But yeah, hope you dig it.

@Suitcoat: Dunno, haven't tried it yet but it's something I definitely want to take for a spin. It may be a while before I get to it, but I'm considering it.

@Elsa: Appreciate the kind words...still not enough for me to forgive you for that tank round you put it my face in Warhawk last week. Don't think I didn't forget.

Darker harder pencil lines on the dress wouldn't hurt.

I like it. Do you use structures on your drawings or do you do it all by scratch?

@JoZo: I meant to do a little more of that, but with me, I usually darken the lines too much, which means I either have to fix it or change the other lines so it doesn't stick out so much. Which isn't an easy thing to do, mind you.

@Monodi: I don't do too many structures. I draw a circle to start with a head to get the proportion on that right. After that, it's a matter of guidelines to know where to place the facial components, and to get the head size to shoulder ratio right. Usually, hair and everything else is by scratch. It becomes a little different if I do something full body, which I'll probably get around to doing pretty soon.

@Mr. Holmes: Thank you, sir.

Ah!! You were the insomniak?? Cool! You were a lot of fun to play with!
Do you play other shooter games? (like Killzone, Battlefield, etc)? If so, I'll send you a PSN invite.

Very nice. I think you should try your hand at a bearded samurai.

@Elsa: I play some Killzone 2 from time to time, haven't gotten around to Battlefield or any recent shooters lately, busy with the hot titles currently, but sure, hit me up with an invite.

@Jimbo: I so should have seen this coming. Luckily, I do have an idea or two on what I want to do regarding that project. You'll probably see something from me before this month's end. Or even before next week, I really don't know, my work schedule is weird and I'm terrible with promises, so don't hold me on either of those.

But do know I'll be working on that project, man.
