About Me

Basic Info
I'm mostly a Old School and PC gamer nowadays, though I do play XBOX 360 on some occassions but not enough to sign up for a live account. As you can see I'm a major fan of Spawn and Darkhorse Comics fan, it may sound geeky but I collect Mcfarlane Toys, right now I have about 78.

Stats
Currently Playing: EA's Skate, I skateboard in reality so I think I can fairly say that Skate is one of the most realistic skateboarding games out. It may not be as good as THPS3 but it still has its moments

Currently Reading: Animal Farm by George Orwell, yes I know it's a classic but it's also one of my favorite books

Currently Watching: All 4 seasons of Futurama, I got them for Christmas and so far I have watched the first three seasons

I know this has nothing to do with gaming at all but cloning has always been a topic that has interested me.

If you think about it, a clone will be exactly the same as a human being, except conceived differently. In which case, there will be no real problem.

Now, where the bad part comes in is in the current technology. How do we know that it will be exactly the same as a human being? We shouldn't toy with human lives unless we're absolutely sure that the process will be valid, and the product will be healthy.

Even if this is reached, there will still be issues. Imagine a society of clones. Obviously not attainable right now, but just delve into science fiction for a moment. Now, this society will consist of identical individuals that will have all the same physical properties. That means they will all be weak to the same viruses and diseases. If this certain disease breaks out, bye bye entire population.

I stumbled upon Destructoid a long time ago but was to lazy to make an account. I guess I got up enough energy to make one. One thing I'm glad about is that they have a blog system, it gives me a chance to write all my rants and raves about gaming. Thank god for Destructoid.
