So, over on the Scorehero forums, we have confirmation of the launch DLC for Guitar Hero World Tour. There's some Metallica, "Rock Anthems", and other stuff. Here we go.

Metallica's Death Magnetic Album (already available for GH3)

R.E.M track pack
Horse to Water
Man-Sized Wreath
Supernatural Superserious

Classic Rock track pack
Rock and Roll Band - Boston
Hot Blooded - Foreigner
Jessie's Girl - Rick Springfield

Ted Nugent and Zakk Wylde guitar battles (to play outside of career)

No Rain - Blind Melon (single)

I guess they're all master tracks. No prices yet. Also, I believe you can download these as single tracks, which is good. So, What do you think? Good times, bad times?

Nice Led Zeppelin reference.

I've never heard those REM songs, and the other track pack is alright but not necessarily what jumps to mind when I think "Classic rock."

Since Death Magnetic is one of the most surprisingly good albums I've heard in a while, I would pick that up. That is, if I hadn't already invested in Rock Band and all of that.

I'll be buying just the game and guitar combo, fuck the rest of it. Already have RB instruments. As for these songs, I'd only be interested in the Classic Rock track pack.

Boring tracks. Also, why are they making people go through the hassle of downloading the Guitar Battles when they could have easily included them on the disc?
