Hi, Im JDUB X
I play a lot of games on almost every system. I have been a Hardcore gamer since the early 90's. I somehow stumbled on to video games when I discovered my parents original Gameboy and NES. From then on I have been playing and I can honestly say I will probably never stop as long as I live. Most of my time is spent Gaming, exploring the internets, and listening to Video Game Podcasts.
My favorite genres are:
Action Adventure, Shooters, Puzzle, Racing, Platform, Portal, Action RPGs, and Music/Rythm.

Co-host a sub-par show about video games, and you're automatically entitled to be the "Dr. Phil" of video games.
That woman has a jawline that Dick Tracy would be jelous of.
I'd still wreck that junk.
EITHER WAY...both Tyra and Morgan phail. I wonder who's the next no joe to be on some show as if they know so much about games.
also....I see Chin webb called final fantasy 7 a "little silly game". Although i'm for some downplay of FFVII, I find it hard as hell to believe some "gaming goddess" that calls the games she plays and loves a silly game.
just to prove further how unreliable that chin is.
The FPS reason seems like the biggest stretch as I personally think those games are more about competition and camaraderie though sometimes its good to vent.
She is no expert and furthermore, she appears as far to arrogant when she performs her hosting duties, this even moreso.
Morgan Webb...i don't know how to feel about her. I mean I bet she's the kind of girl I would want to hang out with...but then I'd probably want to slap her as well.
Second, Morgan Webb didn't seem to degrade gaming until the last few minuets. That's what he does, don't try to change him to what you want him to be. Did she ever ask tell her to pick up a controller and get into the game with him? No, she just said he has to cut back on his gaming. She has to do a helluva lot of work to do to earn my respect again.
*steps off soapbox*
no comment.
@go man
well, on one hand, your right, but you're being abit short sited. If the dude is playing just an hour or 2 a day, really that's not a big deal. but if he's playing for hours on end, then yeah that can be a bit of a problem. It's not a matter of oh the girl should play games to because that's just the other way around, that would be the guy "molding" the girl. But in reality, it should be a bit of both, he cuts back a bit, she join in the gaming abit. A relationship is about interaction with your partner, giving and taking mutually. To dismiss the girl as being to controlling, especially after 7 years, is a bit immature. If you want to know why the stereotype of gamer guys can't get girls exists, it's exactly that attitude of "blah blah blah I shouldn't have to change you should like me the way I am that" so many gamer guys have. Gamer or not, no one is perfect and there's always things people can do to improve themselves and improve their relationships.
Yeah, I didn't mean for it to come out like that, I'm a bit frustrated with a lot of things. Balance in between both lives is the best thing, I know. Give and Take. Consider that my lapse in maturity for the night. Now, I'm going to go cuddle with my teddy bear and watch old re-runs of SWAT CATZ!
lol, sorry I didn't mean to sound like I was berating you or anything. I just wanted add some perspective on the matter is all ^_^.
I have a friend who plays halo3 nonstop. I know Im usually playing with him and his girlfriend never complains. Hes literally using 90% of his non-school/work/gf time playing halo3. She accepts his hobby and trusts that he will find balance. And he does. 3 days straight of halo = the next 3 days i dont hear from him cause hes in her pants nonstop.
You just have to find the right balance.
Plus that couple was obviously lying about their situation just to get on tv. Everyone does it. If she felt that strongly about his gaming habits she would have resolved it or left him in less than 7 years. Seriously!
